Greenhouse and Hoophouse Organic Production

Growing organic crops in protected environments such as greenhouses and hoophouses has a unique set of issues that are worth exploring. Topics such as temperature control, pest management, trellising, and crop planning will be addressed by the author of The Greenhouse and Hoophouse Grower's Handbook. The presenter is the former greenhouse manager at Johnny’s Selected Seeds and is currently editor and publisher of Growing for Market, a monthly publication for small- and medium-scale diversified producers. In addition to his greenhouse experience at Johnny’s, Andrew interviewed many experienced greenhouse and hoophouse growers, collating their collective wisdom in his practical book. These techniques and strategies can help farms stay profitable and satisfy customers throughout the seasons.
