This "picture show" session traces humanity's dubious invention of agriculture and the major milestones in its historical development from the Holocene's dawn to present time. Where has this left today's 7 billion people nutritionally, and in relationship to the planet's natural systems which support agriculture's current immense productivity? Where do we go from here?
