Social media, and in particular photos and video, have become a powerful channel for storytelling and messaging. This hands-on workshop will cover key social media strategies and techniques, with the goal of helping attendees better share their stories. This includes taking pictures and videos that attract targeted audiences, and crafting posts with hashtags and emojis to capture followers. Panelists will use case studies from their own experience to “share and tell” what has worked for them. Participants can bring a potential post to spotlight their work. This is not required, but attendees can learn much by participating in the critiques.
