Job Description: 

This is a unique opportunity that could turn into a business management position for the right person. We are looking for someone committed to sustainability, creating a nourishing work environment for the team, and making our company part of a healthier way of doing business and taking care of our environment.

Work would include:
Creating and maintaining efficient systems for scheduling, payroll, and invoicing.
Communications between workers and clients regarding scheduling, client needs, etc.
Organizing receipts and tracking expenditures.
Responding to new client inquiries.
Troubleshooting day-to-day issues that come up on sites.
Research on a variety of topics.
Purchasing materials and coordinating wholesale orders.
Posting job openings and screening applicants.
Updating the website.
Monitoring profitability and participating in budget decisions.
Keeping tools and materials in good condition and well-organized.
Some office plant care.
Possibly some QuickBooks.
Bonus: If you enjoy gardening or landscape design, you can occasionally join us in the field! (not required, but highly preferred)

Ideal candidates would have:
Business administration background or education.
Excellent problem solving, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented perspective and accuracy with numbers.
Great communication skills with clients and staff.
Ability to work efficiently independently.
Ability to use or willingness to learn the following programs: Excel, Wix, Evernote, MS Word, Quickbooks. Smartphone required for the apps we use.
Bonus but not required: Art/design skills, plant knowledge, vehicle.

This position would be part-time, two to three days a week in the office, plus availability of at least one hour per day M-F to work from home. We are asking a minimum one-year commitment. Starting pay is $22-$25/hour with opportunity for increase and profit-sharing after training is complete.
