Apricot Lane Farms is looking for a full time Culinary assistant to serve as a cook for the upcoming Apricot Lane Farms product line, including Marmalades, Fruit Butters and more.
Spend up to 100% of a workweek working at an off-site co-packing facility, depending upon the production season.
This position requires attention to detail and speed, while performing repetitive, high volume tasks for large batches of product.
When not working on product lines, serve as a part of the Traditional Foods Culinary team at the farm, preparing staples for the weekly culinary program, such as bone broth, seed crackers, raw butter, lacto-fermented sauerkraut and more.
Occasionally serve as a sous chef to our Daily Farm Chef for meal preparation, and, if needed, may be asked to lead meals, as well.
Occasional, though not typical, evenings and weekends may be required for special events.
Proficient knife skills and relevant culinary experience REQUIRED.
Experience working in a food production facility, not required, but preferred.
Ability to maintain clear communication with others

Ability to work occasional evenings/weekend for special events.
