Job Description:

We are looking for a farmer who can manage a one acre farm, 40’ x 70’ high tunnel, and deliver farm based education to school aged children. Farm production is typically for educational purposes. This is a full-time position with two components, school year and summer. The roles and responsibilities of the position will vary based on the time of year. During the school year this position requires managing the farm, high tunnel, and traveling to various Bar-T centers to facilitate Harvest Club. Harvest Club typically takes place between 3:00/3:30 and 5:30 in Montgomery County Schools. In the summer this position requires maintaining the farm, high tunnel, and running Harvest Camp as a specialist and head counselor. Summer sessions run roughly 8-10 weeks from June through August. The camp day runs from 8:30 to 4:00 with occasional extended hours.
