Spiraledge is a company founded on one essential principle: to help people live healthier lives through sports and fitness! 

Benaroya Family Farm is a diverse 13 acre homestead in Los Gatos with 300 fruit trees, lots of berries and vegetables, greenhouses, pastures, chickens and 30 dairy goats. 

Rancho Soquel is a 100 + acre property near Santa Cruz, which is currently in development as an organic production farm that will feature mixed vegetables, orchards, and a variety of pastured Livestock.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Farm Production Manager
Location: Los Gatos/Soquel | Brand: Tend
Reports to: Farm Manager

What you will do (not limited to the following)
-Drive and execute the production of all vegetable, herb, and cut-flower operations 
-Create, manage, and execute all fertility related operations 
-Maintain digital records needed for food safety, organic certification, and internal data analytical needs
-Manage and execute all picking & packing operations. 
-And much much more!

Your qualifications
-At least 5 years of farming experience with a minimum of 3 years in vegetable experience 
-Strong tractor or bcs 
-Ability to lift 50lbs (aka a sack of chicken food)
-Able to perform physically demanding work, outdoors, on a slope, in hot/inclement weather
-Willingness to use technology to communicate, operate irrigation, and record data
-Ability to self-motivate and work alone or with a team
-General handiness and excellent problem solving skills
-Commitment to giving and receiving direct, timely, and constructive feedback
-Willingness to be flexible and shift priorities

Bonus points
-Some Pasture and livestock management experience
-An agronomic related degree
-Class A license 
-Farm marketing acumen

Physical demands:
Most work performed outdoors; regular exposure to dirt, dust, noise, adverse weather conditions and mechanical hazards when operating farm tools/equipment. The employee is frequently required to stand, bend, grasp, perform repetitive movements, balancing, climbing, driving, kneeling, pushing, reaching, sitting, twisting, walking, & crawling.

Additional Physical Requirements:

Vision: Adequate with aid to read instructions, labels, documents, computer screens and differentiate between colors.

Hearing:  Adequate with aid to understand oral requests, & telephone conversation
