Job Description:

Wildland is a worker-owned cooperative located on Green Bluff in Washington State with a mission of cultivating our connection to the land through four main pillar of our business :

operating a winery and brewery serving beverages crafted from local ingredients
retail market space for creative goods and farm-fresh produce
land conservation and rewilding projects

What is a Cooperative?
A cooperative is a business structure that seeks to make decision making and ownership more democratic. Each member owner of the cooperative is entitled to one share of the business and has one vote in matters of decision making. Additionally, if the business is profitable, member owners share these profits equally based on the number of hours they have worked. Wildland chose the cooperative structure as a way to share ownership of the business with the people that make the business what it is. We believe that shared ownership and shared decision making allow organizations to thrive.
New team members must work 500 hours before they are eligible for membership in the cooperative. If after the 500 hour eligibility period the cooperative decides to offer membership, the team member can choose to join the organization as a member owner.

There is a lot of flexibility with the position but since we are a farm and our busy season coincides with the growing season, we need team members that are available to work during these times.
We are committed to paying a living wage; currently in Spokane County a living wage is considered to be $18.95 per hour
Wildland pays 100% of employee premiums for medical, dental, and vision coverage. Employees are eligible for benefits upon hire and take effect on the first of the month following hire date. Additionally, Wildland will pay 50% of premiums for spouses and dependents up to $500 monthly.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Wildland is looking for a team member to work full-time and assist in operations throughout the business however this position would primarily focus on market and taphouse operations. As Wildland Cooperative is a multi-faceted business, we encourage team members to learn about the different aspects of the operation in order to better serve our customers and be stewards of the overall vision. The team member will also help with other operations, including working on the farm, assisting with beer and wine production and other general tasks.

The primary focus of the position will involve working shifts in our tap house and market space which will be opening in early May 2022.
