Position Title: Land Coordinator; Reports to: Agriculture and Property Director; Department: Property
Working Hours: Full time, non-exempt position with rotating weekend and holiday duty. Salary: $20 per hour
Onsite housing: This position is required to live on site; housing will be provided by Hidden Villa. Housing is currently in the Duveneck Garden Apartment.

Position Description:
● Maintain and improve trails and program areas of the property with special attention to fire mitigation
● Coordinate and implement Hidden Villa’s fire mitigation plan
● Maintain Hidden Villa’s vehicle fleet
● Maintain Hidden Villa’s roadways

● All applicants will be required to do Live Scan fingerprinting before hire.

The Land Coordinator will be:

● Able to manage stress and prioritize work in multi-task situations to avoid burn-out for self and staff

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities and Duties:
● Upkeep of our extensive trail system including communications with program staff about changes/closures on the system
● Fire control methods including brush clearance, selective pruning, possibly fire breaks
● Responsible for monitoring the condition and uses of Hidden Villa’s vehicles and scheduling service
● Heavy machinery operation in maintaining trees and roadways to allow program access and safety for program participants
and staff
