Seed to Table Farm is centered around a 2 acre market garden, located on a 40 acre farm in Sisters, Oregon. Seed to Table envisions a healthy and resilient community where all people, regardless of race, gender, geography, or socioeconomic status, have access to farm based education and fresh produce that is nourishing, locally grown, and keeping with their cultural preferences. S2T strives to model a sustainable food system while providing equitable access to fresh foods and opportunities for all to engage positively with nutritious foods. Seed to Table Farm has two focuses: 1) growing delicious, diverse, organic food and selling the produce to support their programs and community, and 2) allowing students and community members to create positive food relations through farm based education!

Interns at Seed To Table Farm participate in RFC’s Internship and Apprenticeship Programs. Full-season Internship Program graduates are ready for farm employment. Advanced Apprenticeship Program graduates are ready for farm management positions or starting a farm. The Full-Season Internship Program and Apprenticeship Programs are a spring through fall immersion for aspiring farmers who want to gain significant farming or ranching production experience. The Full-Season Internship Program is an entry/intermediate-level, immersive program that combines hands-on training with skills-based education. Full-time Interns engage in a seasonal average of 30-36 hours per week of farm experience on one of RFC’s participating host farms. For those seeking an experience for just the summer months, a Summer Internship Program is available. Part-time Interns engage in a seasonal average of 14-24 hours per week of on-farm experience. In addition to the on-farm training experience, participants engage in a series of farm tours, classes, and discussion circles focused on a broad array of sustainable agriculture and food system topics organized by Rogue Farm Corps. RFC’s Apprenticeship Program is an advanced on-farm learning experience meant for those with 1 or more season of experience working on a farm. Apprentices on-farm training is also augmented by a farming class series focused on advanced farm skills, farm business planning and management. Apprentices train on farm for an average of 40 hours per week. Participants of both the Internship and Apprenticeship also have an opportunity to complete an independent project. Participants are exposed to the farm knowledge, networks, and expertise through engaging in the daily life of an agricultural community via their host farm.
