Dear Friends of Amigo Bob, As many of you may know, Amigo is fighting for his life against Stage Four HPV-related Neck Cancer. He seemed to be healing it over the past 2 1⁄2 years using integrative therapies, but recently the cancer has grown significantly and the alternative practices need to be supplemented with a more intensive regimen. Hopefully he will begin treatment at Stanford soon, using an innovative clinical trial of immunotherapy instead of the chemotherapy/radiation that can be so damaging and carries the possibilities of permanent side effects. Artist Alison Main was born and raised on her family's small farm, Good Humus Produce, in Northern California. She quickly developed a curiosity for all things not found on the farm.
