Location and Parking
We will be having the event at the Kingsburg Historical Park (see more details). Parking is at the High School parking lot just west of the venue. Watch for the signs. There is parking at the Historical Park for those with limited mobility or to drop off those needing extra assistance.
Musical Entertainment and Kids Craft Corner
Ripe for Pickin' will provide musical entertainment this year. The Raging Grannies return after their rousing debut last year.
What else is new?
There will be other fresh produce available for purchase besides stone fruit such as vegetables and melons. There will be interesting and educational demonstrations throughout the event including docents from the Kingsburg Historical Park available to give tours.
What is the entrance fee?
$10 per person at the gate. Children 12 and under free with paid adult. Fruit bags will be available for purchase for $10. Pre-purchased bags must be picked up at the entry gate. Free Entry for one person with EBT card.
Will there be fruit tasting?
There will be fruit tasting this year. Volunteers are always needed to cut the fruit. Volunteers receive free entry and bag of fruit. Many participating farmers specialize in growing delicious varieties of nectarines, peaches, plums, pluots, apriums, and apricots.
Pre-Ticket and Bag Sales Deadline
Ticket Sales have begun and will end on Friday June 27th. Pre-purchased tickets are $8.00. You will receive an e-ticket by email. We suggest printing it out when you receive it and keeping it handy for the event entry. You will also have the option of pre-purchasing paper bags to be picked up at the entry gate.
