EcoFarm Conference

The Ecological Farming Association presents the annual EcoFarm Conference each January - featuring over 70 workshops, intensives, keynote speakers, an exhibitor marketplace, seed swap, live entertainment, mixers, and organic culinary fare. Workshops cover practical information on crop production, livestock, soil health, marketing techniques, farming issues, and cutting edge information to support farmer success. As the oldest and largest organic farming event in the West, EcoFarm is a prime networking and educational hub for farmers, ranchers, distributors, retailers, activists, researchers, and educators.

Organic Stone Fruit Jubilee

This fun-filled summer event includes fruit tasting and sales of over 60 varieties of peaches, plums, nectarines, apricots, and pluots. Enjoy live entertainment, farm tours, a kids craft corner, jam making, a Japanese tea ceremony, flower arranging, fresh fruit elixers, artisan treats and pies.

Hoes Down Harvest Festival

In the heart of breathtaking Capay Valley, immerse yourself in a festival of rural living, domestic arts, and local agriculture. Full Belly Farm, one of the first and most prolific organic farms in the country, hosts the Hoes Down Harvest Festival, which includes farm tours, traditional arts and crafts, farm-fresh food, folk music, dancing, hands-on workshops, and seminars, offering the public a special chance to enjoy rural life and deepen our understanding and connection to the local food system. Recognized by the National Geographic for its children’s area, this event is fun for adults and kids alike. Camping in the orchard is available for a whole-weekend experience. Full Belly Farm is located in Yolo County within two hours of San Francisco and Sacramento areas and benefits the Ecological Farming Association and a variety of sustainable agriculture and community organizations.
